Hi Folks,
Today I want to show you an interesting statistic, come on let’s
look deep.
Popularity of You-Tube videos is based on how many hits that
the videos gets since its inception, more the amount of hits which means one
hit equals to one person watching the video, in lesser time since it was
uploaded means more viral the video has become. We have 1,498,499,920 hits for
the song called Gangnam Style I am sure you must have seen it too, you know
short weird guy wearing bright coloured clothes doing this ridiculous hip
movement which I felt rather was somewhat cooler than weird, so Let's assume
that at least 5% hits to the you-tube video phenomena or an overnight
sensation video were from India, which is 74,924,996 hits that is more than
approximately 50,000 times the size of hits which the following video has
received since its inception or even its related videos, please watch and then
let me know is the main stream media actually doing their jobs efficiently
in creating awareness in people.
People are civilized now they understand which lines should not be
crossed, they understand wrongs and rights, they all are well trained and
educated now and yet they have seen the song that they don't bloody understand
a single word, but haven't seen the video above or ever tried to search
their favourite activist on you-tube like Meenakshi Ganguly for E.g., Wait a
second, what, you all don't know who she is? How would you, you were busy doing
the Gangnam style, Lol, and you know why it makes me feel disgusted because I
also come from the above 5%.
Well I have some new piece of information on the matter of Child
Abuse, I have found a list of few NGO who support child abuse issues and
related child development issues. As I get more information I will post, if you
